I wouldn't do it, even though I have little doubt about doing it a few times not harming it...
instead, I think I would use a standard 20 Amp outdoor extension cord, pulled inside the rig's power cable locker so it's not too easy to disconnect. Would be fine I think to charge and run a few lights...even to preschool the fridge, etc... just not micro and AC at the same time.
