The Show Sites button gives you some closer photos and details of each site, once you've found one on the map you like.
seems to me it works really good.... I've reserved twice since the new rollout and had no issues with finding my site or making reservation, or even changing them.

When I try to look at the map option I get this pop up
“We're unable to display map locations at this time. We're sorry for any inconvenience as we continue to update our data.”
