while I don't have a mechanical bed like yours, I can only imagine that it not only uses a fuse for 12v power, but may also run thru a BUSS Breaker in your battery bay - it may be mounted on the wall of the bay, with battery cables run to/from it - a small black block with a red button - if a yellow 'flag' is protruding from the bottom, it is TRIPPED. Push the yellow flag back in to reset it.
