Our Cummins/Onan experience:

Onan had a run of bad fuel pumps about the time we picked up our Axis. Sure enough on our 2nd camping trip out the generator quit and wouldn't start (crank and crank and crank no fire).

I talked to our dealer and they said: "Just take it to Onan/Cummins since that's what we'd do anyway--save yourself a step". So I took it to our local OC shop.

They take a look at it and the guy at the front desk is telling me: "Its a bad fuel pump, we'll have to schedule you an appointment and we're running about 3 months behind right now" meanwhile the tech is standing there "I think I saw one back in the shop, hang on" before the front desk guy could have the paperwork done the tech had the fuel pump replaced and the generator was purring along happily.. LOL
