i know the proper way to do it. get your rig fully loaded, weighed, run it by the GVWR and other numbers and then look it up via Tire data to determine the correct PSI.

what i want to know is if there is a way to do it without weight and without the max sidewall PSI. i know i need to do it properly, i just haven't loaded the RV yet.

also i know to fill them cold. would the tire be considered warm if its been sitting in the sun for a few hours?

and finally, what about filling them while the jacks are extended? or does the coach have to be on the tires to fill them?

There will be a yellow placard somewhere near the drivers seat with the recommended inflation pressure. It will be the correct pressure for the rig at the GVWR on the original equipment tires. It will not be enough if your rig is over weight and it will be too much if you are light but without weighing it the place to be. I believe you should make the final adjustment with the jacks retracted.
