In addition to using the clip locks shown above, we use non-skid shelf material. It's a rubber coated mesh that you place on the shelves (including in the fridge) that keeps items from sliding. You can buy a roll of it at most Dollar stores. Here's a link to an Amazon listing to give you an idea of what it's like:
