Loose headlight trim panel on new Aria

I started hearing an intermittent rattle coming from the front of our new 2018 Aria 3401 at freeway speeds.

I don't know if I have found the cause of the rattle, but I did find out that I was about to lose the trim panels around the headlights. Five of 6 nuts on one side and 2 on the other side were already missing and others were loose and working their way off of the studs.

I went with fender washers and nylock nuts to secure the panels again.

If you have an Aria you might want to check the nuts that secure the headlight trim panels. They are fortunately easy to get to.

If you need new nuts, mine are size 8-32 and I recommend nylock nuts or thread locker.

Be very careful not to over tighten the nuts. You want them to be just barely snug.
