Regardless, the auto transfer switch just runs the power thru it. That is, it does not measure the watts and decide if it's too much.
That's the job of the 15 amp Breaker in the panel.

As long as your not trying to use a blow dryer or electic heater on high you should be fine.
I wonder if this Aims 1200 watt inverter can run our small microwaves? Not that I would but its interesting.
