I wouldn't have them off the ground for a couple reason. One if something happens how far are you going to fall? what damage to the coach suspension etc.
Two If you are talking back wheel then you don't have your emergency brake working since it depends on the tire being on a solid surface.
Three makes it real easy for someone to help themselves to your tires the hard part is done it's off the ground
four I'm sure some one will chime i here.

These chassis only have a limited travel up and own and having the axle hanging just seems wrong. If it's hanging 6 inches off the ground picture hitting a hole in the road 6 inches deep.
