Under the Features for the 34R - Electrical & Plumbing - Enclosed & Heated Holding Tanks. This means all tanks and water lines are heated by the propane furnace. This is typical for all of the larger Thor MC coaches. Usually the coaches less the 32 ft do not have space for the hoses to the tanks and use electric heating pads on the exterior of the tank bottoms. Enclosed & Heated Holding Tanks means you must run the propane heater anytime the coach is not winterized and the temperatures are below 32 degrees for more than a few hours. My coach with enclosed & heated tanks does quite nice down to 13 F degrees during the nights; no experience with temps colder than 13 degrees.
