I too have an issue with rain getting into my furnace. My furnace is located under my fridge and if we have rain that sheets down the side of the motorhome that has the furnace, I start getting water pooling inside the motorhome. I pulled out a drawer that is next to the furnace and saw water dripping from the furnace and then pooling up. At first I thought the water was coming from inside the furnace but last time I put my hand on top of the furnace box and it was wet. I have to put a plastic bag and tape it over the furnace panel on the outside to keep it from leaking during a heavy rain.
