Thats true but I tend run on propane and when hooked up to shore power it will auto switch to AC (bypasses 12v unless you have your inverter hooked up wrong). So only things on 12V will be whats on my fuse panel and most are low voltage so the converter will still be charging batteries.
Yeah, I should be able to run my little 6 cu frig. on "engine" juice only while traveling.... I just need to give it a good test.
