Today I went to hug the camper as one does while its hibernating for winter--especially after its endured this past week of <0F temps.
While I waited for the engines to warm up I glanced over at my pile of projects; one of which is a Fantastic Fan. "Hey I should take off the inner trim ring on the vent to see what I'll have to deal with when I do tackle that project."
Having already installed 3 FF's I was expecting open framing, roof material folded down, insulation, etc.
What I saw was completely unexpected, at least for me:
The entire hatch is framed with aluminum channels and there is a grommeted power wire already in place!? (Didn't have a voltmeter with me to see if the wires were live or not.) Wow.
I was 1/2 tempted to go take off the one on the rear hatch but thought better of it (because if I found it the same complete with wire that would have compelled me to purchase a 2nd FF! LOL).
