Here is another informative video interview with a Ford engineering manager which mentions the new transmission by model as the 10R140. He says it’s the same physical size as the present 6R140 and weighs only 3-1/2 pounds more. The significance of the model number is that it is related to torque capacity, so it can handle the PowerStroke’s torque.

For what it’s worth, he also talks briefly about upgrade changes to the 6.7L PowerStroke.
