It doesn't have to go back very far reach the dolly/toad. The generator and propane tank seem to block the transmission from the left rear coach tires. My signal booster sits in the compartment under the bathroom sink and reaches the dolly without a problem. There is a removable panel there where the wires to the coach control panel run. I just tapped into the water heater's power wire.
