Pump first from a 5 quart container then pour 2 quarts into the empty 5 qt. Jug and pump those. He described it as being without a mess. I’d have already bought one except I’d just changed the oil and cleaned up the mess. Definitely next time though.


I tried that one time. It is indeed mess free filling but then the pump was an oily mess to store. I put it in a plastic bag but it was still a mess. Threw it away and just use the bottle hose shown above and oil in quarts. I find that the entire assembly fits within the engine compartment with the oil bottle more sideways than upright. Works for me.
