The braking system I use is the Blue Ox Autostop. It’s a surge braking system mounted to the front of the towbar. Uses the weight of the Jeep when slowing down to actuate the Autostop and pull the Jeep’s brake pedal via a cable running from the Autostop to the pedal.

I don’t think Blue Ox makes it anymore, but it works good. The most popular surge brake towbar is the ReadyBrute. Same concept as mine, but is more popular and reliable.
