Our Compass comes with a two burner propane stove - so not much help except to say it's possible. As for your trip - hope you enjoy it. We live in the Yukon. Our shakedown trip will be to bring our new RV from Vancouver to Whitehorse - 2000 miles. We've been up and down the highway dozens of times.
You can find some amazing sites for dry camping on the way. But there are really good serviced campgrounds too. There are vast stretches of wilderness - but it's not nearly as isolated and rugged as many think. I'd be happy to answer any of your questions - or at least provide links to help you plan.
