Maybe the thread title could be adjusted:
Faux cabinets and no joinery.
The cabinets are nothing more then face frames nailed or screwed to walls and framing.
Most of our cabinets - the back is the wallboard, the top is the ceiling.
Items that at least should be pocket screws are nailed. Found three more nail shoot throughs last night when I stabbed my fingers wiping down the base of the island.
It would have been nice if the jig they used to build face frames was flat and had clamps.
My estimate would be half of all mating surfaces are not flush with one another.
