Mud Flaps

A couple weeks ago I noticed a "thump, thump" coming from beneath the RV. Checked under carriage, etc., and didn't see anything that would jump out at me.

As I was backing the RV to get nearer to the freshwater outlet this AM I was reminded of the "thump, thump" with an added "crunch". The driver's side mud flap was just barely hanging by the remaining nut and bolt.

An inspection of the mud flap and flap hanger left me with the conculsion that I had at some time or another dropped off the edge of the road or a curbing and pushed the flap upward with enough force to shear one of the mounting bolts.

Glad I was home at the time as I got a set (nut, bolt, and 2 washers) to reinstall the mud flap. While I was down there I checked the remaining bolt on that flag plus those on the pax-side mud flap.
