DIY Appliance screens?
I'm looking to install some screens on the vents servicing all the appliances in our Windsport - water heater, furnace, fridge etc. I figure I can buy a sheet of fine-meshed metal stock screen for less than the cost of a single "store bought" screen. Leftover screen handy for repairs if needed.
Question is how to attach. Has anyone done this before, and if so, how did you attach the screen inside the vent covers? Quick search of forum didn't give me any results.
Wondering if there's an appropriate adhesive, or maybe some sort of hi-temp non-flammable duct tape.
