Main problem is getting the radio fuse out and back in it's real small and hard to get to location. I think I'll make a switch/fuse to replace the in box fuse so I can just flip the switch when ready to tow. The fuse removal keeps the battery from draining.

I also tow a CR-V. I installed a battery maintainer that keeps the battery charged while towing, so I don't have to worry about the radio fuse. It's like this:
