Hiya Steve! I left Weirton in 1956 at the tender age of 5 and back several times to visit. Back then we learned about ecology early. The town had 2 creeks, Marlyn Heights Creek with pollywogs and salamanders and Acid Creek that ran thru the mill with only nasty pond scum. My family was there for 3 generations, worked the mill and merchants on Main St. I need to make the trip back.
