The saddest part...all manufacturers push the limits...I think they design the perfect motorhome, then run the weight limits...reducing items and sacrificing quality components and building materials for lighter ones as much as they have to to fall within chassis weight limits. I asked the factory rep during our tour of two Plants in Wakarusa, why they didn't build the Class A cabs with more metal instead of so much plywood...he said..."weight and cost". He also told me...no airbags in the A's because the "deployment" would blow forward more than towards the occupants...as it should. Basically blow the front off.
