Texas has many great state parks with full hookups for RV. I recently spent a week at Fort Griffin (near Albany) with the Texas state longhorn herd. Full hookups at $28 a night. The hill country has many campgrounds. We like the COE Canton Lake Potters Creek which is close to us.
