I've looked at that gutter material in the store, but haven't tried it yet.

I think I remember a post by FW28Z a while back that he used it on a boat once. (haven't seen him posting here in a while though)

Regardless, my 2 cents - It looks like it could be a bit tricky to get straight over a long run with nothing to guide it against, but I think it'll work great....
Except on my coach, there is so much of the roof line interrupted with the awning attachments (slides and porch awnings). The way its made I don't see a way to get an uninterrupted run down the sides.... So I was thinking of putting it over my rear clearance lights and another couple short pieces inverted over the tail lights, to deflect water from these leaky poorly designed fixtures. Not so sure about the sides of my coach....
