Depends...
If they are actual hydraulic cylinders, where a rod comes out (the ram), and they are not left extended more than 2 - 3 weeks at a time, then the answer is more than likely no.
If they are the cylinder type, and left extended for long periods of time, then yes, wipe the shafts with a rag wetted with ATF.
You do not want corrosion to set in, then cut a seal, then it all starts leaking.
Now, if it is a mechanical type, like a scissors type, then yes, even drain oil from a squirt can will suffice on the moving parts:
i.e. the screw, or gear drives, hinges, etc.
