Most of the KOA's have 'Kamp K9s' but some that we were in were so small. Also, has anybody run into a campground rule that state you pet cannot be left unattended. This means different things depending on how the campground interrupts it. I have had campgrounds tell us that if you leave the RV, you have to take your pet with you.

We leave our pets in the RV for short periods of time(grocery shopping, dinner, etc.) but with some campgrounds this is not allowed.

I hope that everyone with pets see these posts and give feedback. It would be very helpful to know what a campground offers in regards to pets. Such as, Dog Park, is there one and how big? Special rules, like are X pens allowed, breed restrictions, additional fees for pets? Proximity to pet friendly activities, beaches, restaurants, trails, etc.

This information, coming from the people on this forum, would be invaluable to all RVers who travel with pets.
