I'll put in a plug for Miller Creek RV Resort at the intersection of US281 and US290 just south of Johnson City, TX. This is an excellent base for touring the Texas Hill Country. Miller Creek has a dog run, dog washing station and there's always the creek for the water-loving dogs. US281 and US290 provide access to San Antonio, Austin, Marble Falls and Fredericksburg, among other points of interest. Paul and his staff keep the place in immaculate condition.
