Hello fellow RVers!!! This one is more an upgrade than mod. You have probably seen several upgrades like this one on Facebook (Thor Windsport/Hurricane Motorhome Owners). I purchased mine from a fellow RVer named Jeffrey Lock. As you can see from the pictures, the new console can accommodate large cups and if you are using the 3" adapter, smaller cups too.
