Agree with taylorbob1. If all you do is go from campground to campground that has electric, then one battery is probably fine for you. But for those of us who like to spend time in National Parks or National Forests or jut boondocking out there, two batteries are often marginal - especially if you do not like to run your generator for hours and disturb all the other campers in your vicinity.
