No such thing as too many batteries. LOl. Like saying "too much HP" or too big of .....well you get the idea.
Personally for the Axis size RV I think 4 or 6 would be plenty but it all depends on your boondocking and how much you want to spend on it.
Pretty hard to run AC on AGM's (IMO). Lithums is a better choice. And if you did you might only get a couple of hours out of 6 or 8 of them.... is that worth it for you?
