So taking along the title might help, I understand, but have to hide it properly. Or the mailing thing if I have a friend willing to mail Titles to me.

Thinking Murphy I would say if it happens it happens while in Alaska with the Home beeing in Florida .
So I could register it as well in the state I buy it in? That would open other options like buying a quad for the stay in Alaska eg and sell it after moving on. Or a Motorcycle somewhere else.
In that case of preplanning.
1. Keep registration and proof of insurance in Toad
2. Keep toad title in RV locked or secure if ever needed
3. If you need to purchase a new toad, buy from a legit dealer, they should properly register the title for you in your home state. You should have proof of payment of tax title and license. They will likely charge a doc fee of $150 or so to do this and give you temp tag. Your license plate will come from your home state Florida. Don't know if you have license plate shipped to alternate address than what is on title? But since you planning. Have some planned to pick up your mail to send to a temp address i.e. the dealer you bought toad from.
