Pretty sure that you have one of those black boxes. I have seen them located beneath entry steps, under the bed, and also in outdoor storage compartments. The main purpose is to control which sources provide power from the converter or alternator to charge the batteries. Box normally measures approx. 10"x10"x6". Front cover is removable. Sometimes it is mounted to the chassis.
