Having survived an engine fire in a rear engine motor coach, I would always check both emergency exits in the coach during a PDI with the PDI tech. I also make sure the DW also operates the emergency exits. You should consider the 6 ft drop to the ground if you plan to go out head first. Yes, the rear emergency exit window on a Thor, gas, class A will release from the top is opened more than about 30 degrees.
