3 weeks in 2019 Chateau 22B good & bad
Just got back from a 3 week trip in our 2019 Chateau 22B. I have to say I was surprised that everything in the coach worked properly with no coach problems, did not hit rain the entire trip so don't know if it leaks anywhere or not. I did have a problem with the Ford chassis, wrench light and check engine light came on, it was a Sunday afternoon in South Carolina and Ford said they had nowhere to tow it to as they didn't know which dealers worked on trucks, they told us there was a dealer 2 miles away so we put on the flashers and hobbled in. Parked under the roof at the service entrance until they opened at 7:00 AM. Ends up they do not work on trucks or RV's but I think they felt sorry for us and decided to give it a try. First item that the computer called for did not do the job, so they had to order a throttle body, they allowed us to use their electric for the second night and put the throttle body on the next morning, did not fix the problem, they had to order the main computer and it would be another night, that did the trick, so 72 hours later we were on the road. The dealer was Fort Mill Ford and I have to say what a great service department they have, they went out of their way to make us as comfortable as possible under the circumstances. That's the good and the bad of the trip and darn glad to be home.
