CO/LP Detector alarming

We have an 2016 ACE 30.1. The CO/LP detector alarms when there doesn't seem to be a reason. When it goes off, my husband checks with an electronic gas leak detector & it never finds anything. He has verified that the leak detector does work when exposed to gas from the stove. The alarm most often comes on when someone is showering. The alarm is mounted low to the floor on the common wall between the shower & the bedroom. The door between the two is always closed & has very little clearance with the floor. Today when it began to chirp the shower was running but nothing was found with the leak detector. The alarm indicated it was reading propane. It chirped during most of the time the shower was on but shut off prior to the shower ending. During the next shower it again began chirping and continued throughout the shower. Yesterday it alarmed without the shower running but did not show propane. Thoughts?
