Rear tire tread feathering

I have a Chateau class C on the E450 chassis. Both left rear tires have the tire tread feathering. The right rear tires show no unusual wear. I've seen this type of wear on front tires when there is an alignment or suspension problem, but I don't know what would cause it on solid axle rear suspension. What would cause this?

I check tire pressures often, so I don't think tire pressure is an issue. However, today, for the first time, the inside tire was several psi lower than the outer one.
