So we have been using our 30.2 for almost 3 years. Monday was a very hot day in LasVegas and the power went out. I checked the breakers in and out and neither popped. I did smell something and then realized the connector was smoking. I disabled the outside breaker and found the connection and cable end melting and brown.

We ordered a replacement called a smart plug however it makes you think how quickly a fire could have started. I never before realized the twist lock design was known to have issues with temperature and failure.
