I found that on one leg of the main circuit breaker I have 120V, and the other (oddly and precisely) 18VAC.

So I am guessing one leg of the transfer switch has a bad contact, etc.

I am thinking of switching the two HOT lines on the main breaker so that the energized side will run my converter, and get my slides out. Can anyone think of a reason you can't switch them around?
