I have a Sprinter Diesel Freedom Elite with a propane generator. I did notice that my motorhome has a 68 Gal. propane tank vs the usual 48 so i am assuming that the larger tank is because of the generator.
The Fuel tank is smaller at 26 gal vs the Gas tanks of 55 gal. Again designed for the LP generator. If you had a diesel generator you would be stopping for fuel ever hour.
If its designed for LPG then i would leave it that way or else you will have other issues you didn't think about.
Just my opinion.
