Mine was already equipped with anchor points that fold level with the bed of the trailer when not in use.

The "red things" behind my tiedown storage boxes are 2-gallon rotopax gas cans. The rotopax are sturdy and fit behind the storage boxes with plenty of room to spare (only couple inches thick).
