What concerned me with GS towing is they will only tow to the nearest service center any farther you have to pay the extra. What if the nearest center is a month out but one 50 miles farther can get you right in, then you have to pay the extra towing.
Thanks for all the replies

Sandrooney, you are right about the towing distance. I have AAA Premier RV and will be dropping the service in a couple days. We had 2 issues with AAA. One of my daughters got stuck on a hill in a snow storm in Christiansburg VA. AAA said that even though she was stuck the car was still driveable and they refused to tow her. The second issue was when my other daughter hydroplaned off the road in a heavy rain storm and AAA's driver couldn't find the car which was in the median by an on-ramp. The VA State Police got impatient and called their contract tow company after waiting about an hour.
I decided that since my new Jeep Grand Cherokee came with Road Side Assistance I don't need coverage for cars I only need it for the motor home. FMCA covers the motor home and my car at one cost. No additional cost (which were considerable) for my DW.
Read too many complaints about Good Sam and I've been an FMCA member for years so we went with them.
