Have you looked at gasoline Transit-based motorhomes? That might be another option.
Fuel economy won’t be as good, but for the mileage most motorhomes are driven, added fuel cost should be offset in part by lower initial cost.
Driving range is also less with gas vs diesel, but starting with 2020 Model Year there’s a 31-gallon optional fuel tank that will help. I expect many Transit motorhome will have that option.
