Have you thought about spending the night near Bakersfield and doing the Grapevine early in the day? But that would add 1-2 hours to your drive home. We spent a night near Button Willow in a small CG but I can't find it on the Google, sorry. |
We stayed at the CG at button willow behind the truck stop. It was a pit but ok for overnight. Couldn't find it on any search so don't know if it exists anymore. I think we'll stay in Bakersfield and hit the grapevine early. Not to much interested in doing thru after an already long tired drive.
