After further inspection I found that the trim piece over the brackets was simply wedged in place! I removed it and now have access to the top bracket screws. The bottom trim piece is secured by two screws. I removed dowel pegs in the holes, removed the screws and now I have access to the bottom brackets/screws.
With regards to why I’m replacing it, I’ve had it serviced before and I’m not going to take another chance that it will work if I attempt to get it fixed again. Got the same model at Home Depot.
