Question about running coax down an exterior wall

I want to run a short,6', coax from the cabinet over the dinette where they put the DVD player and hdmi splitter to an outside outlet. It looks like inside of the wall is 1/2" ply covered in wallpaper. What is between the inner and outer wall? Foam? I had hoped to drill a 1" hole in the wall in the cabinet and ram a fish tape down through the foam. Then another 1" hole in the outside sheet and hope I can grab the fish cable. I just don't know if there is any interior structure between the entry door and the window. And if I'll be able to get through the foam if that's what's in there.
