Ha ha...that's actually one point I'd miss if my dome had been at all transparent. looking up into the trees and getting the natural light while showering would be good...

just brainstorming here based on my rvroof.com coating... I think if I were in your shoes with no reason to fix a leak with a full roof, I would think about maybe coating that dome with something tough...like maybe bedliner in a can maybe. You'd have to confirm how well that stuff might stick to the plastic dome, or hurt it...and I would be extremely careful to mask off the roof membrane and other areas from over spray and drips. I have no idea if that stuff would damage the roof or not...
otherwise, those domes are very easy to replace and there are different styles and qualities available.
