I think you are confusing GCVWR vs GVWR
GCVWR-Gross Combined Vehicle Weight Rating (GCVWR): The GCVWR is defined as the maximum weight of a loaded vehicle and its attached loaded trailer.
GVWR-Gross vehicle weight rating
