According to Anderson="Up to 50% of the times it is the backflow check valve in the water pump and not the Kantleak causing the problem". Makes sense to me if you stop and think of how things are plumbed.
Easy to check also. Just unhook the line from valve to the the pump and see which way the water is coming from. From the valve to the pump, it's the valve. From the pump to the valve, it's the check valve in the pump. Easy check and can save a long wait for parts and a lot of work.
